How Our Media Day Photoshoots Are Structured

LAZ Sports delivers a smooth, organized, and high-energy Media Day experience for athletes, teams, and full sports programs. Our workflow is designed to keep sessions efficient, fun, and professional — whether we're photographing a single athlete or an entire organization.

STEP 1

Pre-Shoot Logistics & Planning

Before Media Day, LAZ Sports coordinates with your team or program to plan the shoot layout, backdrop selection, props, lighting setup, and athlete flow. We handle all logistics — from equipment placement to athlete staging — ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

STEP 2

Check-In on Media Day

Athletes arrive and check in with our team. We guide them through the process, explain the flow, and help them feel comfortable and confident before stepping in front of the camera.

STEP 3

Individual Athlete Photos

Each athlete receives guided posing based on their sport. We use fog effects, LED lighting, props, and either a black or white backdrop. Athletes can choose their own poses or rely on full photographer guidance. The environment is energetic, creative, and fun — complete with music to keep the energy high.

STEP 4

Team & Group Photos

After individual portraits, we capture team photos and organized group shots. This portion is structured, efficient, and designed to produce clean, professional images for banners, social media, and program branding.

STEP 5

Delivery & Optional Prints

Your digital photos will be delivered in 2–6 weeks, depending on the size of the shoot. After digital delivery, we send out physical print options so families or programs can order high-quality printed products if they'd like.
